Social Responsibility
MBRF is certified in good practices in ethical auditing techniques, based on the Code of Conduct, regarding health and safety, labour standards, environment, and business ethics.
Import and Export Operations
The Authorised Economic Operator certification recognises companies that operate responsibly, transparently, and securely in import and export operations.

National Beef Cattle Certifications
National Beef, part of MBRF, also holds specific certifications for the production of different cattle breeds.
Cattle Units
MBRF’s Cattle Units are authorised to produce Angus-certified beef. For Angus production and certification, animals are inspected in the corrals, verifying the breed standard (the Aberdeen Angus breed, originating from Scotland, is internationally recognized for the superior tenderness, flavour, and juiciness of its meat), and again on the slaughter line, where they are individually evaluated for carcass conformation, age, and degree of finish. Only animals that meet all quality prerequisites are certified.
